We are Brett and Joseph, two guys cooking away in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Our mission is to craft beautiful, delicious dishes made with quality ingredients. When possible we try to source things locally and make as much as much as we can from scratch. We run a bi-monthly supper club, “Stuyvesant” serving up modern French inspired Nouveau American cuisine to share our passion for food and great hospitality with friends old and new.

Hey Brett and Joseph, this is @beefpho on twitter and i would like to know if this is a side thing that you guys do to challenge your culinary prowness or if one of you do this for a living. I know Brett is an illustrator/cartoonist (please forgive me if I’m wrong!), but I am curious what you do Joseph. The depth of detail in this blog from the techniques described to the palate teasing ingredient list for each recipe makes me feel like you guys have to more than amateurs.
